A guy at work, Tim, has been bugging me to start a blog. There have been several issues as of late that I thought I should blog about:
1. I saw someone wearing their helmet backwards.
2. I was doing mechanical support at a ride that had a few thousand participants. I fixed a bike that was using Duck tape to hold the front derailleur on.
3. A guy asked if he could flip a pair of $300 Zipp carbon fiber road bars upside down so he could get a higher riding position on his road bike. He observantly stated “that would only be $150 per hand position.”
For now, I like the idea of just listing the ideas. However, as a Math Minor in college, I would like to support the customers insight that 2 handlebar positions on a $300 handlebar do indeed equate to $150 per position.
